Walk In GYN Care Manhattan

I had been the patient of a gynecology practice that I despised for over ten years. The reason? I hadn’t been able to find better…until today. I had asked friends for their recommendations and their favorite gyno was either too far or didn’t take my insurance. The walk in gyno has several locations and one is actually a 15 minute walk from me. Unfortunately that location does not accept my insurance. Yesterday, I made a spur of the moment change. Instead of keeping the appointment with my former gynecologist, I decided to go to the city for this new experience at Walk In Gynecology. It was super easy to get to. The front desk staff are friendly and that is always important. Now, the wait was long. I was at this office almost four hours. That includes the wait time, exam time, sono time and speaking with the medical provider. They were down a doctor yesterday, so really it’s to be expected. The staff are all friendly. The room for the sonographer has soothing water sounds played. I felt like an actual patient and not a pain to some office that doesn’t care. I will now make this my practice and will be their patient.
