Welcome to the second location in Walk In GYN Care's journey. Little did I know when I started the Manhattan location that we would run out of space so quickly. I knew that all the ladies in all the boroughs needed help. Astoria ended up with a booming real estate market, new medical office spaces coming up, and a growing, vibrant community.
Another bank loan, another location. This was my first experience building out a whole space from soup to nuts. Encountering all possible challenges, from permits to construction to HVAC and finally the certificate of occupancy, we reached the end…or rather the beginning.

We opened the doors at Astoria Walk In GYN Care in April of 2017. It was a product of hard work with a lot of help from friends and family, and I was quite proud of the space we built. 3500 sqft, six exam rooms, an actual office and three bathrooms… it was all a luxury for us 🙂

It was off to a slow start. Your Astorians needed to get to know us. And in a year or so, you did!

Within a year, we were seeing approximately 50 patients a day. Then the pandemic hit. All other private practices closed down, the hospitals were overwhelmed, and we stayed open. Despite extreme staffing shortages and healthcare worker burnout, we realized you needed us more than ever.

Walk-In GYN Care was able to help so many of you ladies suffering from issues such as pain, heavy bleeding, abnormal pregnancies, breast cancers, and so much more.

In fact, we got so busy that we had to do renovations in the middle of the pandemic to create more rooms. I am glad we were able to help!

Today, I am proud to say that Astoria – Walk In GYN Care has become a pillar of the Astoria community, located in the heart of Astoria on Astoria Blvd. We are open every single day (including Sundays)- rain or shine!
We are humbled and grateful for your support in this journey! Change is not easy and we couldn’t have done it alone!
