Brooklyn Walk In GYN Care is a COVID baby. After extensive planning and a complete buildout, our third location was ready to open its doors when the pandemic rampaged through New York, bringing lockdowns, disease, fear and stay-at-home work for many of you!

I had invested all we had in this third location (all locations were bootstrapped). We had the staff, the equipment, everything. I was very conflicted on whether to open or stay closed. And suddenly it hit… Where will women go for their health care needs? Covid or not, women will still have issues – abnormal bleeding, pain, STDs, cancers, pregnancies. Many people don’t realize how much women go through in one single cycle. Now that we are looking at the pandemic and its repercussions in hindsight, we know how many people deferred routine and even urgent health issues for multiple reasons.

Well, we opened the doors to the Brooklyn community. Lo and behold, that’s exactly what was needed. We were busy within weeks. Since then, we have served nearly 60 women daily at our Brooklyn Walk-In GYN Care, located downtown at the intersection of Clinton and Fulton streets.

We love the vibrant, diverse neighborhood and are proud to be a go-to health center in the area.
